As a self-proclaimed girly girl and lover of sparkly things, I've always had an appreciation for jewelry. From dainty necklaces to chunky bracelets, I'm a fan of unique and pretty pieces that can accent my wardrobe. Maybe it's my Mom's fault (who frequently nagged me to at least put on a pair of earrings before I left the house) but I've come to believe that an outfit really doesn't feel complete without accessories. Even if it's just a pair of simple studs or a watch, that little extra touch can really elevate your whole look.
It's been a long time since I've received any kind of jewelry subscription service, so when Your Bijoux Box reached out to me to collaborate, I was totally down. Every month Your Bijoux Box curates a collection of three unique and stylish pieces to send to your doorstep, along side a fun little bonus gift. So if you're curious to learn a little bit more about this service and what subscribers were sent in the April box, keep on reading!

My Latest Wardrobe Staple: The JORD Cassia Watch
*PR Sample
If you read my blog with any regularity, you're probably well aware that I'm a full-on nerd for all things beauty. I love reviewing makeup and skincare, and never tire of sharing my tips and product recommendations with you. At the same time, I've been itching to branch out and incorporate more fashion and lifestyle content here and on my YouTube channel. Anyone that knows me offline will vouch for the fact that I'm more than mildly enthusiastic about the things in my closet, so why wouldn't I want to bring some of that passion to this space?
And of course, with the universe and it's perfect timing, not more than a few days after I decide I'm going to start on this new adventure does JORD approach me about collaborating for the holiday season. JORD is known for their beautiful, handcrafted wooden watches, and they graciously offered to gift me the timepiece of my choice in exchange for an honest review. I'm not going to lie, I don't think I had ever seen or heard of a wooden watch prior to this, but as soon as I started perusing their website I knew I was all in. JORD's watches are (no pun intended) incredibly timeless, with sleek, sophisticated designs for men and women. And let's be serious, there's something insanely cool about a wooden watch. It's unexpected, unique, and perfectly channels that casual-enough-to-wear-everyday-but-stylish-enough-to-dress-up kind of vibe.
With my not-so-subtle love for all things rose gold, choosing the Cassia Walnut & Vintage Rose Watch was pretty much a no-brainer. However, there are honestly a number of other gorgeous options I could have been equally happy with. So let's take a closer look at my lovely new watch, and chat a little bit more about what my experience with it has been!

Wantable Accessories September 2015
I'm so smitten with this month's box it's kind of unreal. From the moment I opened the package I'm pretty sure my eyes turned into hearts. With a mix of delicate and chunky pieces, elegant and glam styling, everything inside is so incredibly me. I do make it a point to review all of the pieces I get each month, and over time I think my stylists have really honed in on my personal tastes. I haven't included any kind of special message to my stylist either, so this was entirely based on my profile and what I've liked before. So, without any further rambling, let's take a look at each piece up close.

August 2015 Wantable Accessories Collection
After taking last month off from Wantable, this little package was a welcome sight on my doorstep. Even though being in scrubs 9 hours a day, 5 days a week means that I don't get to rock my jewelry collection as often as I'd like, I do still absolutely love to accessorize an outfit and can never have too many pieces at my disposal to choose from. Partly due to laziness and partly due to intrigue I did not leave any special requests for my stylist this month. So, leaving everything up to chance and the (hopefully) capable hands of my stylist, here's what I got in my August Wantable Accessories Collection.
