June 2015 Flashback
Happy 1st of July, all! I've always had a particular fondness for this month. The summer is in full swing, 4th of July celebrations will soon be under way, and it's my birthday on Friday, so that's always something to look forward to. It looks like my friend is taking me out to dinner to celebrate, which should be lovely, AND I don't have work because of the holiday. Basically, I'm in good spirits and I'm really looking forward to the rest of this month.
Before I get too carried away, though, I should give June a proper goodbye and take a quick look back at all of the happenings on Little Blushing Birdie last month.
With work being crazy stressful, I retreated to my local lush shop for a little pampering and to bask in the aura of bath bombs and bubble bars. Naturally I also ended up going home with a bag full of goodies.
Of course, that wasn't the only haul I ended up making last month. I also snagged a few new launches from the drugstore to test out and review.
My Birchbox last month was pretty darn excellent. I got 7 samples from some of my favorite brands (oh Caudalie, how I <3 you).
Little Blushing Birdie also turned 2 last month! It still blows my mind that I'm already 2 years and over 200 posts in to my blogging adventure.
Whether you're landlocked or stuck at the office all summer, these beach inspired beauty products will make you feel like you've been sitting by the ocean all day.
To the surprise of no one, I've got my hands on another eyeshadow palette to review. This time around it's the much hyped L'Oreal La Palette Nude 2! If you're a fan of purples you might want to check it out.
My Wantable accessories collection had a pretty heavy boho vibe this month. While I wasn't quite as enthused about it as the last few months, there were a couple of standouts.
Nail polish is probably the last thing I need, but I couldn't resist trying out the new Patent Shine 10x Formula from Butter London!
Julep has totally revamped their selection process for Mavens and I'm loving it! I stocked up on a ton of essentials this month and found a few amazing new things.
What was your favorite happening from June?
