ULTA 21 Days of Beauty Picks

If there is one thing I love more than beauty products, it's saving money when I'm shopping for beauty products. One of my favorite times to stock up throughout the year is during ULTA's 21 Days of Beauty Event. Held once in the spring and again in the fall, you can score unbelievable savings on cult classic products for three full weeks! Every day has a new special offer, usually at 50% off, from some of Ulta's most popular high-end brands. Over the years I've discovered so many top-shelf, Holy Grail products through shopping this event and saved a ton of cash doing so.

Even though my beauty collection is not really lacking in any areas at the moment, I always get excited to see what each new 21 Days of Beauty event is offering. And honestly, when it comes to Spring 2017, Ulta may have just set the bar at an all-time high. Yes, there are a few products I feel like I've seen every single time (I'm looking at you Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes), but there are also a ton of fresh, new finds that have me thinking "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY". Now, I know that shopping these kinds of sales can be a little overwhelming, what with everything being an incredible bargain. So I've rounded up some of my top picks to share with you all to hopefully help you narrow down your shopping list.

Sunday March 19th: Too Faced Love Flush Blush$26 $13
Oh Too Faced. You always get me with your adorable packaging. I've never tried this Love Flush Blush formula before, but I've heard really favorable things. There are 6 shades to choose from, all of which look very wearable and flattering, and they're supposedly super buttery and long wearing. For the price of a drugstore blush, this looks like a great one to try!

Monday March 20th: Fiona Stiles Sheer Sculpting Palette$28 $14 *ONLINE ONLY*
A brand that I'm really curious to explore more from is definitely Fiona Stiles. Tati from Glam Life Guru has raved so much about their products, and she generally steers me in the right direction. For $14 this contouring palette is an insane value! You get three generously sized pans of products for about what you'd pay for something similar from L'Oreal.  There are two versions available: one for light complexions, and one for medium to deep complexions. If you've ever been curious to experiment with the contouring trend, this looks like a solid investment!

Tuesday March 21st: Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss$24 $12 *ONLINE ONLY*
Guys, you don't even know how excited I was to see this product included in the sale. I have been OBSESSED with using the shade Frosted for the last month (you can see it in action in my February Favorites post), and am super jealous that you guys can pick it up at half price! These cream shadows pack the most gorgeous, glittery shine on the eyes without any fallout. I'm seriously considering ordering the shade Oil Slick for myself because it looks super unique and I know the formula is BOMB.

Wednesday March 22nd: Buxom Full-On Lip Cream$20 $10
Again, I did a bit of a double-take when I saw these bad boys included in the sale! These lip glosses are cult favorites in the YouTube beauty scene, specifically the shade White Russian, so I'm sure these are going to be flying off the shelves. Unlike the Buxom Lip Polishes, this formula has zero shimmer (something I'm a fan of) and packs on a fair amount of pigmentation. Not only do they give you that super wet, glossy finish, they also give your lips a minty tingling sensation that helps them to plump up and appear fuller. There are 14 shades to choose from, so I'm sure you could find one that suits your fancy!

Saturday March 25th: Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleansing Cloths$15 $7.50
This is one of those products that seems to appear in every single 21 Days of Beauty event, which is perfectly fine by me! These wipes are awesome for removing makeup, but considering how many other affordable alternatives there are out there, I never pick them up at full price. Aside from the fact that they're super gentle, yet effective, I also love that these wipes are twice the size of most other brands. You can bet I'll be restocking my stash next weekend!

Sunday March 26th: Becca Backlight Priming Filter$38 $19
This was another double-take product for me. So many people LOVE this primer from Becca, so I have a feeling people are going to go a bit bananas at the prospect of being able to pick it up at half price. If you have dry, dull skin, this illuminating primer will give your skin a healthy, radiant glow. If you're oily like me it might be a little much. I would at least avoid applying it to the more greasy parts of your face if you're curious and want to try it out!

Monday March 27th: IT Brushes For Ulta Airbrush Smoothing Foundation Brush #102$22 $11
After taking home a set of IT Cosmetics brushes from Generation Beauty NY last fall, I have to say I was seriously impressed by their quality. Not only are they insanely soft, but they also hold up really well to repeated washings. I'm a huge fan of using buffing-style brushes for applying my foundation, so if you don't already own a brush like this I think picking this one up at the sale price would be a fantastic idea!

Friday March 31st: Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water$32 $16
If you've been reading my blog for a while or following my YouTube channel, you've probably heard me gripe more than once about the original Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. It's not that I think it's a bad product, it's just jam-packed with silicone and tends to make my skin a bit cranky with repeated use. This version, however, is great! I don't think I would shell out $32 for fancy water, but at half price I'm way more likely to be on board. This silicone-free priming spray hydrates your skin prior to makeup application, making everything go on that much more smoothly and easily. As someone with oily skin I actually love this type of product, because it hydrates without going overboard or making me too greasy throughout the day.

Saturday April 1st: IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder SPF 50+$35 $17.50
Again, super excited to see this product included in the sale! Everyone (including myself) loves on the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream, but I hardly ever hear anyone talk about the powder. I personally love mine and reach for it frequently in the spring and summer. Not only is it great for reapplying SPF on the go, but it also legit makes your skin look flawless. Since it is a pretty full coverage powder, I like to layer mine on top of a BB cream or Tinted Moisturizer to keep things from looking too cakey.

Friday April 7th: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush$28 $14
If you've ever checked your makeup at the end of the work day and seen that your blush has legit vanished from your face, this formula will be your saving grace. These blushes are a little bit stiffer than your average formula, but are beautifully buildable and long-wearing once applied. I've only ever tried them in palettes, so I'm really tempted to pick up a single shade! Also on sale is the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Highlighter ($28 $14) which I have yet to get my hands on. I've heard that these are also lovely, but at the moment none of the shades are specifically calling to me. I think I'd need to swatch them in store to make a final decision!

Saturday April 8th: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz$21 $10.50
When it comes to iconic brow products, the Brow Wiz is probably at the top of my list. This micro-fine pencil makes it incredibly easy to fill your brows in with realistic, feather-light strokes that mimic the look of actual hairs. Sure there are tons of drugstore dupes available now, but if you can get the real deal at half price, why not? With 10 shades available you should most definitely be able to find one that works for you.

// PLATINUM PERKS //

If you're like me and spend way too much money at ULTA ($450 in a calendar year, to be exact) you'll earn yourself Platinum status as an Ultamate Rewards Member. This gives you exclusive access to extra sales, coupons, product launches, and a whole bunch of other fun stuff. For the 21 Days of Beauty Event there is a special Platinum Perk available every Sunday for purchase online only. Also Platinum members get free shipping on all orders that contain a beauty perk from the event though April 8th!

Sunday March 19th: IT Brushes for Ulta Complexion Perfection Essentials 3 Piece Deluxe Brush Set$49 $24.50
While I absolutely love IT Cosmetics makeup brushes, I'm going to be skipping out on this particular set. Aside from the fact that I have enough brushes to last me through the next century, I also am not a huge fan of the shapes of the brushes they included. The big fluffy powder brush looks awesome, but the flat foundation and concealer brushes are not what I prefer to use when applying those types of products. I would definitely recommend grabbing the Foundation Buffing Brush that's part of the regular sale on March 27th instead!

Sunday March 26th: Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Blush$26 $13
Having never tried this blush formula for Urban Decay it is mighty tempting for me to pick one of these up! There are 12 shades available, some of which are pretty wild. Fetish looks like a very safe bet, but I'm not going to lie - there's something weirdly intriguing about Bang (a bright orange red), which I think could look stunning as a very sheer wash on the cheeks.

Sunday April 2nd: LORAC Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette & LORAC Unzipped Gold Eyeshadow Palette, $42 $21
Lord knows I need another eyeshadow palette like I need a hole in the head, but with all of the incredible reviews I've heard about the LORAC Unzipped series I don't know if I can resist! Many a fellow blogger has claimed these palettes contain the best eyeshadow formula LORAC has released to date, and for only $21 I might just need to cave in to my curiosity. Really, the most difficult part is deciding which one to get! The original Unzipped is a collection of gorgeous rosey-toned neutrals, while the Unzipped Gold is a warm neutral palette lover's dream. Let me know in the comments below which one you would go for!

Needless to say, I'm going to have some serious debating to do over the next couple of weeks. As much as it is tempting to buy everything, a girl's got a budget to keep in mind. Of everything, I think the face wipes and the Unzipped Palettes are my absolute must-buys. If it wasn't already difficult enough to narrow things down, ULTA also has a variety of Hot Buys that are available for all 21 days. I'm really curious to try the Bare Minerals Gen Nudes Liquid Lipsticks, but fortunately I have a little time to decide whether or not I want to pick any up. I'd love to hear what you all are most excited about from this sale. Definitely let me know what you're going to buy in the comments down below!

Will you be shopping the 21 Days of Beauty Event? What are your top picks?
