5 Minute Makeup Tutorial

Happy Sunday, all! I am cozied up at home with my cup of coffee, starting my day off being a little bit productive. It's been a cold, rainy, generally gross week, but finally the sun is shining again and I am ready to actually enjoy a little bit of fall. I'd love to go out and get a couple of pumpkins for my front stoop, maybe even bust out the Halloween decorations. It's October people, time to embrace all things festive!

On a day like today when I'm either going to be out and about running errands or relaxing at home, I like to take a break from full-face makeup. All I want is to look polished and put together without having to expend a whole lot of time and energy getting ready. In the spirit of having a little bit of fun, I thought I'd put my skills to the test and see if I could come up with a makeup look to share with you guys that you can do in five minutes or less.

I promise, if I can do this makeup look in five minutes while also trying to talk to the camera, you can do it too! I know so many times life can feel insanely hectic, and you may feel like its impossible to find any time for yourself. But if this can prove anything its that you only need to find five minutes to make yourself look pulled together. The other great thing about this kind of look is that it's totally transformable. Changing up your lip or cheek colors can completely change the overall look without costing you any extra time. And if you have a few extra minutes to spare you could always pop on a bit of eyeshadow or a little bit of highlighter and take things up a notch.
