Get Your Chocolate Fix (Minus the Calories)

Valentine's Day is around the corner, and regardless of how you might be feeling about the holiday, I think there is one thing many of us can agree on - a love for all things chocolate is always worth celebrating. If you #treatyoself to a giant box of chocolates and don't feel like sharing with anyone, I will not judge! You indulge. You deserve it. But if you're craving a bit of cocoa infused goodness and don't want to totally infringe on your New Year's healthy eating resolutions, I've got a solution for you! Why not opt for one of these glorious, chocolate scented beauty products instead? Not only are they crazy decadent, but they'll definitely last longer than a candy bar!

For about the price of a bag of fun-sized Twix bars, you can easily snag yourself a chocolate scented lip balm. Burt's Bees has a couple of delicious sounding options, including Mint Cocoa and Blueberry & Dark Chocolate. For only $3.30 they're a really budget friendly option while still being 100% natural and infused with super nourishing coconut oil and shea butter.

A lot of us know the struggle around that time of the month. Our moods get crazy, our skin gets spotty, and the chocolate cravings are real. If this is your life, the LUSH Cupcake Fresh Face Mask ($7.95) is basically the answer to all of your prayers. It has ingredients to cleanse and calm your skin, and it smells like a mint chocolate chip brownie. Take 10 minutes to chill out with this on your face and I guarantee you'll feel a little less cranky.

Scented nail polish totally brings me back to my middle school days, but these Parfumerie nail polishes from Revlon are far from childish. The shade Chocolate Truffle ($5.99) not only is a beautiful rich cocoa brown to sport in the fall and winter months, but it also smells exactly as promised when dry! Just as a heads up, sealing this polish in with topcoat will negate the whole scent effect, so you're best leaving these as is. They probably won't last more than a day or two before chips appear, but it's certainly a fun concept.

Speaking of nails, most traditional nail polish remover smells....well...kind of toxic. Which is exactly why the Ciaté London Choc Pot ($8) is so genius. These pots have sponges soaked in an acetone-free polish remover, that will leave your fingers deliciously scented like - you guessed it - chocolate. Just don't make the mistake of taking a whiff from the actual pot itself - the scent will only appear after the solution dries on your skin!

If I could only use one bronzer for the rest of my life, it would hands down be the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer ($30). It's the most beautiful shade for my light complexion, doesn't have any added shimmer (cause sometimes I'm just not about the disco ball life), and is infused with actual cocoa powder. Honestly, nothing makes applying your makeup more fun than chocolate scented products. There are other shades in the range available for those of you with deeper complexions, and if you really aren't a bronzer girl, Too Faced also has the Chocolate Bar Palette, which infuses cocoa powder into their gorgeously butter eyeshadows.

Looking for something super indulgent? You really can't get much more luxe than the Fresh Cocoa Body Exfoliant ($45). This gentle scrub is packed with all things coco-related: crushed cocoa and coconut shells, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and cocoa extract. It's essentially like slathering yourself down with a more shower appropriate version of brownie batter, and will leave your skin feeling soft and looking glowy.

Not gonna lie, this last product was my own chocolate-themed treat to myself this year! The Too Faced Melted Chocolate Liquified Longwear Lipstick ($21) provides gorgeous pigmentation in a range of chocolate-themed colors that come in either a matte or metallic finish. I picked up the shade Chocolate Milkshake, which is a true nude with an ever so slightly pink tinge to make it more wearable. These smell absolutely divine, are lightweight and comfortable, and hold up pretty well on the lips!

What chocolate product would you love to treat yourself to this year?
