May Favorites

Hello there, friends! May has been a bit of a crazy month for me, and I know I haven't been as active around these parts as I would like to be. It's not for lack of things to share. I've got A TON of posts queued up, waiting for me to make time to finish them. My hope is that I'll be able to get my butt in gear over the next couple of days and get down to blogging business. On that note, if you aren't already subscribed to Little Blushing Birdie by e-mail, it's the best way to get notified whenever I post something new. It'll deliver a snippet straight to your inbox so you can remember to check it out whenever you've got the time.

Anyway, back to the reason your here! There are a few great products I've been playing with this month that I'm excited to share with you all. Truthfully I've been using a lot of the same things I've been loving from the past couple of months (the IT Cosmetics CC Cream is life), so if you really want a clearer picture of my beauty loves, I'd recommend looking back at my previous favorites posts from this year. But as any beauty junkie knows, there's always something new to talk about. So let's get to it!

Bumble & Bumble Don't Blow It Hair Styler ($31) This lightweight cream adds texture and bounce to air dried hair. It's been a godsend for when I'm feeling lazy in the mornings!

Blow Pro Textstyle Dry Texture Spray ($19.75) If you also suffer from limp, volumeless hair, this spray will make your day. It adds just enough grit to give your hair volume and movement, without it being too sticky or making your hair look dirty. I've written a whole post about texturizing sprays if you'd like to learn more!

Maybelline Color Blur in Orange Ya Glad ($8.99) I've been on the orange lip train for a while now, and this shade is perhaps my favorite of the bunch.

Lancome Juicy Shaker in Apri-cute ($21) Seriously, though. Is this packaging not the cutest?! This lip oil is basically addicting in every way.

W3ll People Bio Correct Multi-Action Concealer in Light ($22.50) This super moisturizing concealer just melts into the skin around your under eyes. It has a ton of coverage and it's all natural!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Bronze ($7) Makeup Revolution seriously has my heart as per late. This bronzer is no exception. The texture is buttery smooth and the pigmentation is perfect.

Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer ($24) I'm obsessed with the blendability and natural finish of this cream bronzer stick. It's the definition of easy, on-the-go summer makeup.

BH Cosmetics Sculpt & Blend II ($32) I posted a full review of this brush set earlier this month, so it's probably no surprise that I had to include it in this month's favorites. BH Cosmetics makes some of the best affordable makeup brushes, hands down.

NYX Cosmetics Pro Blending Brush ($9.99) This blending brush has seriously upped my eyeshadow game this month. It's so soft and has the perfect shape to soften out harsh edges while still maintaining a lot of precision and control.

Formula 10.0.6 Down to the Pore Blackhead Banishing Pore Strips ($5.99) Pore strips are perhaps the grossest yet most satisfying beauty product to use ever. These ones are really effective while also containing ingredients to help to soothe your skin.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm SO EXCITED for June to be here. My three year blog-o-versary is the 13th, and I've got an amazing giveaway planned, as well as vacation, and the Firefly Music Festival. While I may have slacked a little bit in May, get ready for the wave of beauty goodness that's about to come!
