I adore soft, feminine makeup. Sheer washes of color, glowing skin - nothing too overdone or overly complicated. Pinky nudes and rose gold hues lend themselves perfectly to this kind of look, warming up your natural features while still managing to look natural. Here are some of my favorite products to do the job.
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso ($8.95)
Pulling this blush out of the drawer and swiping it on immediately reminded me of why I fell in love with it last spring. It's a peachy pink shade with a very subtle gold shimmer that gives your skin that lit-from-within-glow without ever looking clownish. The formula of these blushes is very pigmented, so you don't even need to use a lot to get a perfect flush.
Julep Orbital Eyeshadow in Airglow ($18)
There's something so subtle and yet special about this eyeshadow that I just can't stop wearing it. It's a pink toned champagne with the most amazing metallic sparkle. The formula is a bit sheer (although you can certainly amp up the pigmentation by applying it wet) and yet it adds just the perfect wash of color all over the lid for those days when you'd rather do something simple on the eyes.
NARS Illuminator in Orgasm ($30)
In the same shade as the cult favorite blush, this illuminating liquid can be mixed into your foundation to add luminosity to the skin, or patted onto targeted areas to highlight. I like to apply it with my fingers to areas I want a bit more radiance, and blend it gently by patting it down with my Beauty Blender.
Physician's Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Stick ($12.95)
First of all, how adorable is the packaging on this product?! Between the bow detailing and the rose gold finish I'm kind of in love. This creamy base can work as a concealer or foundation, and is perfect for throwing in your hand bag for on-the-go touch ups. It has amazing coverage, and blends out beautifully to make your skin look really flawless. One warning, there is only one shade of this product available, and will best compliment light to medium skintones. Fair toned girls may want to pass, while deeper skin toned girls may be able to use this as more of a highlighter or under eye brightener.
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Descanso ($25)
NARS makes gorgeous lip products, with the Satin Pencils being some of my absolute favorites. They're so easy to use, glide on like a dream, and provide beautifully pigmented, long wearing color. Descanso is described as a tea rose, and has that ever so slight nude tone that makes it look incredibly natural.
NYX Butter Gloss in Créme Brulee ($5)
This super sheer pink gloss smells as good as the name suggests. It adds just a hint of color, with tons of shine and moisture. It looks lovely on its own, but also makes a perfect compliment to your pink toned lipsticks.
Ruffian Nail Lacquer in Rosary ($10)
This Birchbox Exclusive polish is a sort of pink-copper hybrid with a gorgeous molten metallic finish. The formula is also pretty fantastic. It applies with ease (sans annoying streaking) and is pigmented enough to be opaque with a single coat.

Personally I love to wear this kind of makeup year round, but I think it's especially pretty for spring! In addition to the products shared above, I am also wearing L'Oreal Pro Matte Foundation (a mix of shades 101 and 104), and my Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. If you have any suggestions for other rose gold inspired makeup products, I would love to hear about them, so please post a comment and share! Speaking of which, I may or may not have just ordered this eyeshadow stick in Rose Gold earlier today, which I can't wait to try. I hope you all are having lovely Sundays wherever you are, and I will surely be chatting with you all again soon.
